A link to the submission form will appear here once it opens, and we will announce it in lecture. Until then you can still get your design reviewed at office hours.

What you will submit

Have these ready before the deadline so submitting is quick.

  1. Your KiCad project folder. The whole folder, zipped, schematic, board file, and any custom symbols or footprints you made.
  2. A clean DRC. Run Design Rules Check in the board editor and fix every error before submitting. Boards with unresolved errors cannot be manufactured.
  3. A board outline on Edge.Cuts. The fab house cuts to this layer. A missing or open outline is the single most common reason a board gets rejected.
  4. Filled zones. If you edited the board after your last zone fill, refill before exporting, otherwise the copper you see is not the copper you get.
Check your work first. The guides cover DRC, board outlines, and export. Fixing these before you submit saves a manufacturing round trip.
